The Blazer Foundation has been a longtime supporter of Walter Lawson Children's Home. In March, the Blazer Foundation generously granted funds of $22,000 for the purchase of three mechanical lifts and five replacement mattresses for our shower trolleys.
This last November, Walter Lawson Children’s Home received a check from fundraising efforts of the Joe Pendergrass Memorial Committee. The $40,000 dollar donation was generated through contributions from the JPM Golf Play Day as well as Pull Tab proceeds from Dusty Boots Saloon and Eatery. Walter Lawson’s is grateful to the committee members and their continued support of our home and residents.

Our kids love the pumpkin patch! Every year our youngest residents visit our local pumpkin patch to experience the wonderful colors, smells and flavors of fall. Trip activities include touching pumpkins and straw, feeding goats and ponies, and enjoying special fall treats. It's quite the sensory experience.
On October 5 we had Chick-Fil-A Day. The restaurant provided a lunch/dinner of chicken strips or chicken wraps, fruit, salad and cookies for every member of our staff at Walter Lawson's. We are grateful to Chick-Fil-A and Ms. Golgowski for their kindness and support!
